Lucille Jones Stacey

Lucille Jones Stacey was born on September 30, 1924 to the late Salena Bell Jones and Ike Jones in Water Town, Florida. She received her GED and earned a CNA degree from Santa Community College. She was employed at Sunland Training Center which is now called Tacachale and retired after 16 years of service. Her favorited hobby was knitting which she took proud in every thing she made. Sometimes she would knit all day long because she loved it just that much and enjoyed making different items for people. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age and truly loved the Lord. She was a very faithful member and served as a "Mother" of The Full Cornerstone Gospel Church, Inc. Fairbanks, FL, Antioch Holiness Church, Gainesville, FL, and later joined Saint Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, Archer, FL, until her death. Mother Stacey departed this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father on April 22, 2023. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Those who proceeded her in death: Husbands - Robert Hinson and Willie Lee Stacey; Daughter - Louise Campbell, Grand-granddaughter - Leah Leonard; Siblings - Mira Jones Williams, Elmira Jones Williams, Mildred Jones, Ethel Jones, Robert Green, Robert Jones and Willie Yarber, Sr; Mother Stacey leaves to cherish her memories: Daughters - Myra Lee Jenkins (Clarence), Gainesville FL, Elvira Leonard (Marvin), Columbia, South Carolina.; 10 Grandchildren, 22 Great-grandchildren, 4 Great-great grandchildren 10 Step grandchildren, 12 Step Great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and many that adopted her a as a mother or grandmother. Funeral Services for Mrs. Stacy will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, 18107 SW 107th St, Archer, FL, 32618. Internment will be at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 17515 SW 147th Ave Archer FL 32618. Public Visitation will be on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 2:00PM, 7:00PM at the Chestnut Memorial Chapel.
