Jessie Little, Jr., 79, of Williston, FL passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at UF Health Shands Hospital. Mr. Little was born on April 27, 1942 in Moss Pond, FL to Jessie Sr. and Willie Ann (Mitchell) Little. He attended Fessenden High School in Marion County. He was employed as an Environmental Service Supervisor at the University of Florida. He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his children, Loreatta Little-Lyles (Frederick) of Union County, GA, Christie Little and Antonia Strong, both of Williston, FL; Jerald Little (Tammie), Sharon Shaw, Cheryl Hopkins, and Jessie Little, IV (Greta), all of Ocala, FL; twenty-three grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Willie Little (Susie) and Charles Little (Lena), both of Miami, FL; Benjamin Little (Carolyn) of Gainesville, FL; John Henry Little, and Georgia Mae Little, all of Miami, FL; Susie Glover (Eugene) of Fairfield, FL, Freddie Little (Joyce) of Orange Lake, FL, Willie Marie Sherman (Ralph) of Hinesville, GA, Felicia Hicks (Walter) of Ocala, FL, and Kathy Ann Soloman (Cecil) of Flemington, FL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gussie McCray of North Carolina, Raymond Strong, Jr. of Gainesville, FL, Viola Davis of Williston, FL, Willie Strong of Brooksville, FL, Alchester Strong (Eartha) or Arcadia, FL Dorothy Strong of Williston, FL, and Lillie Pearl Brinson (Billy of Micanopy, FL.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation for Mr. Little will be Friday, December 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church, 21251 NE 40th Place, Williston, FL 32696. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Charles Streeter, III, Pastor, with Pastor Charles Caldwell, officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, all in attendance are asked to please wear a facial covering.
