"A Mother Like No Other", Francine Williams, 63, of Gainesville, FL transitioned on June 15, 2022 at Haven Hospice, after a job well done! Francine was a retired Public and Private/Charter School Teacher in Alachua County for over thirty years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hayward, Sr. and Juanita (Nelson) Barton, her grandparents, Jesse and Daisy Bell Barton, and Walter and Katie Nelson, siblings, Jeraldean Hayes, Willie Frank Barton, Raymond Barton, Hayward Nelson Barton, and Lawrence Walter Barton, and her grandson, Corey T. Williams, Jr. She leaves to cherish her everlasting memory; (Always by her side) Elder Cleveland L. Williams; her son, Corey T. Williams; sister, Jo Ann Addison; brothers, Jerome Barton, Charles Barton, Edwin Barton and Richard Lewis; also closer than most, Cleveland Williams, Jr., LaDtetre' Williams-McClain, LaTara Williams, and Adrian Williams; Nana to Raymond Hayes, Jr. and Shakela Hayes; "Ten Total Grandbabies", Grandchildren, Cori A. Williams, Cyniah T. Williams, Cameron T. Williams, and Alina L. Brown; Grand-Nana to Joshua Hayes, Isaiah Hayes, Za'Kazia Davis, Jabari Hayes, Amiyah McCray; other relatives and caring friends. Visitation for Ms. Williams will be Friday, June 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Chestnut Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 2905 SE 21st Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32641, Rev. Kevin Thorpe, Pastor, with Pastor Lamar McClain, Presiding, and Pastor R.J. Hines, Officiating. Burial will follow immediately in Abilene Cemetery, Putnam Hall, FL. Family and friends are asked to meet at Sharmie Ffar Park (Wilhemina Johnson Center), 321 NW 10th Street, Gainesville 32601 at 2:15 PM to form the Cortege.
