Mia Lashawn Clark, age 42, died on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. She was born on June 12, 1979 to Kenneth Clark and Mozell London. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School and attended Santa Fe College. She was also a member of TOPROC Church Of God In Christ. Mia was a dedicated Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, and Friend. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tatiana G. Lee. She is survived by her mother; Evangelist Mozell London, her father , Kenneth Paul Clark (and Lenora) of Tampa, FL; step-father; Charles Miller, Sr., of Hawthorne, FL; daughter; Emmira D. Woodard, of Gainesville, FL; two (2) sons; Mizel D. Clark of Gainesville, FL and Keshawn Clark Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; daughter; Emmira Woodard of Gainesville, FL; one (1) grandson; Demarion A. Woodard; five (5) brothers; Dennis Dunbar, Quenton Harris, and Charles Miller, all of Gainesville, FL, Kenneth Clark, Jr. of Colorado, and Michael Clark of Jacksonville, FL; two (2) bonus brothers Bernard Hart and Jonathan Jones of Gainesville, FL; five (5) sisters, Daphne Cook (and PJ), of Hawthorne, FL, Patricia Dunbar, Angelia Miller, Tashia Miller and Aroyal Jackson, all of Gainesville, FL; two (2) step-sisters; Bauchet Harris (and Stephanie) of Tampa, FL and Brandi Harris Jordan (and Vincent); seven (7) God-sisters; Joyce Griffin, Naguana Walker, and Shannon Johnson all of Gainesville, FL, Lynn Gibson of High Springs, FL, Michaela Jamison of Tallahassee, FL, LaGeria Curtis of Jacksonville, FL and Brenda Henderson, of Orlando, FL; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation for Ms. Clark will be Friday, July 30, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chestnut Memorial Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Damascus Cemetery, 17900 NW CR 236, Alachua, FL 32615 with Dr. David Richardson officiating. The Cortege will form at the home of her mother, Evangelist Mozell London, 4440 SW Archer Road, Apt.# 423, Gainesville, FL 32608.
